Horse-Drawn Sleigh Rides

Come join us for some Winter Fun aboard a Horse-Drawn Sleigh Ride at Charmingfare. Travel along the snow covered trails passing by our winter pastures for the cattle and horses. Be on the lookout for native turkeys, foxes, coyotes and deer.

Choose from four different sleighs. Each sleigh may be booked for a either our Traditional Ride or our special Sleigh Ride Social event.

1. Romantic Sleigh (two passengers)
   This sleigh is book as a private ride. Perfect for romantic couples.
   
   
2. Vis-A-Vis Sleigh (up to four passengers)
   This sleigh is a re-creation of an 18th century Vis-A-Vis (meaning face to face in french) style sleigh. Great choice for couples traveling together or small families looking for a private ride.
   
   
3. Meadowbrook Sleigh (up to 10 passengers)
   This sleigh was created by a company in Canada just for our farm. The seats are upholstered and will carry 10 adults comfortably.
   
   
4. Logging Sleigh (up to 20 passengers)
   In the old days, the runners on these sleighs were used to carry huge logs out of the forest. We have constructed a large body on top of the sleigh runners that will carry up to 20 passengers. We fill the sleighs with hay to help keep passengers warm during their rides.
