Join The Majestic for a show the entire family will enjoy! You’ll recognize your favorite Wizard of Oz characters and songs! Majestic’s Wizard of Oz: Young Performers Edition stars children and teens of The Majestic Academy of Dramatic Arts under the direction of Collette Fortin, assisted by Liza Goodman.

The Young Performers’ Edition of The Wizard of Oz is a shorter adaptation of the popular musical specially tailored for elementary school and middle school aged children. Like so many girls her age, little Dorothy Gale of Kansas dreams of what lies over the rainbow. One day a twister hits her farm and carries her away over the rainbow to another world. Come join Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tinman, the Cowardly Lion and Toto as they travel the universe of Dorothy’s imagination.
Join us for “The Wizard of Oz: Young Performers Edition” on Friday and Saturday October 30 & 31 at 7pm, and on Sunday, November 1 at 2pm. Performances will be held at The Derry Opera House located at 29 West Broadway, Derry, NH. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors 65 and above, and $10 for youth 17 and under. Tickets can be purchased by calling the box office at 669-7469, online at www.majestictheatre.net or at the door 30 minutes prior to the performance.
