Paving Planned for I-93 In Windham, Derry

Nighttime paving work is scheduled to take place on Interstate 93 in Windham and Derry this week.

WINDHAM, NH — Delays are possible on Interstate 93 this week as paving work takes place between Exits 3 and 4 in Windham and Derry. Nighttime paving is scheduled for Sunday, overnight into Monday, weather permitting. During the work, traffic will be reduced to one lane, according to New Hampshire Department of Transportation.

The lane closures will be in effect on I-93 North. The paving work is scheduled to take place from approximately 8 p.m. Sunday through 6 a.m. Monday. Drivers should be alert as they travel through the construction zone, and obey all posted signs, the Department of Transportation stated.

This work is part of the $49 million project to widen and reconstruct I-93 from Exit 3 to Exit 4. The general contractor on the job is R.S. Audley of Bow.
