Thomas: Support Birdsell for State Senate

To the voters of Windham, Derry, and Hampstead:

In 2018, US News and World Report ranked NH the top state for economic opportunity, the opportunity to achieve the American dream, and for equality. We’ve also been ranked the 6th best state to do business and the Tax Foundation ranked NH 7th best in taxes overall.

I, for one, am incredibly happy to see things going so well for our state and I credit our Republican leadership in Concord for the way things are going.

I am thankful for the work done by Governor Sununu and our Republican Senate and Republican House.

I am particularly thankful for State Senator Regina Birdsell and her service to our district. Regina Birdsell is an incredible public servant with a strong voting record. She’s always opposed an income or sales tax, supports balanced budgets, supported beefing up the state’s resources to fight the opioid crisis, and is a friend to small businesses.

Since becoming District 19’s State Senator, Regina has treated her role as more than a full time job. Four and sometimes five times a week, she is in Concord fighting for the people of Hampstead, Windham, and Derry for the whopping salary of $100 a year.

But I wouldn’t expect anything less than this type of dedication from Regina. Service is in her blood. Regina comes from a military family and joined in the family tradition by serving 10 years in the Coast Guard.

As a Veteran and an experienced legislator, I know Regina is the right choice on the ballot for State Senate.

I encourage you to join me on November 6th by casting your vote for State Senator Regina Birdsell.
