Windham CPA Named To Massachusetts Board
James Wegmann, who works at Fidelity in Merrimack, has been elected to the board of the Mass. Society of CPAs for the next fiscal year.

WINDHAM, NH — A Windham man has been elected to the board of directors of a Massachusetts certified public accountants org.
James Wegmann, a vice president and assistant treasurer at Fidelity Investments in Merrimack, was elected to the board of directors for the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants for its 2021-2022 fiscal year, the org said Monday. At Fidelity, he focuses on oversight of the company's mutual funds' service providers and financial statement certification. Wegmann was also a senior manager of audit at KPMG LLP for about a decade.
"The MSCPA's board of directors are a remarkable, diverse group of individuals who play a vital role in shaping the priorities of the society and truly want to better the profession," Amy Pitter, the president and CEO of the MSCPA, said. "I am thrilled to have Jim on the board and look forward to seeing how his leadership will continue to benefit the society, community, and the profession in the year ahead."

The board of directors consists of 19 elected members that set policies, manages programs, and oversees activities that benefit the 11,000-member organization and accounting profession in Massachusetts.
