Proceeds from the online sale, which ends Monday night, go to Cole Stoddard's charity at the St. Baldrick's Foundation.

The Windham High School football program will host John Stark on Friday, Sept. 18, in their fourth annual “Blackout Cancer” game, according to a press statement.

The Jaguar football players are pleased to announce they will sell the popular Blackout T-shirts again in honor of Cole Stoddard, a child of a first grade teacher at Golden Brook School in Windham who lost his battle with neuroblastoma at the age of 5. All proceeds from the T-shirt sales will go to Cole’s charity the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

The players have received permission from the NHIAA to play in alternative Blackout Uniforms, featuring black jersey and pants with gold lettering. The newly designed t-shirts will feature gold on black design. The gold is represents pediatric cancer as September is pediatric cancer awareness month.

Last year WHS teacher Jill Bartlett’s leadership class joined the effort by collecting Coins for Cole among other activities to participate in fundraising. This year all the Windham schools will participate and all the varsity games for the week of September 13th will be played for cancer awareness.

Bill Raycraft, Head Football Coach and Athletic Administrator said, “our mission is to give our players an avenue for giving back and to show them they can make a difference. I’m thrilled to see all WHS teams, schools, and the Windham community joining our effort to bring awareness to cancer.”

Last year Jaguars presented a check for over $4,000 to St. Baldrick’s Foundation. The Blackout Cancer night game saw record attendance estimated at more than 3,000 people and demonstrates how the Windham community truly embraces this effort to raise awareness for a disease that has affected each of us in some way.

Blackout online sale ends tomorrow at midnight (8/24). Order at windhamfootball.org. Those who wear their 2015 blackout T-shirt will be admitted to football game on 9/18 for free!
