Windham Cops Ask For Tips After Pizza Restaurant Robbery: Update
Watch: Police are searching for a young white man who flashed a handgun during robbery at Kendall Pond Pizza on Mammoth Road Wednesday.
WINDHAM, NH — Windham police are asking for the public's help finding an armed robbery suspect after an incident at a restaurant Wednesday. Officers were sent to Kendall Pond Pizza on Mammoth Road around 9:45 p.m. for a report of a man entering the restaurant, displaying a handgun, and demanding cash from the register. After getting the cash, the suspect fled the restaurant, running behind the building toward Kendall Pond Road.
"Windham Police along with officers from Londonderry and Hudson responded to the area immediately," said Capt. Mike Caron of the Windham Police Department. "A canine unit from Londonderry PD along with multiple patrol units conducted a search of the surrounding area but were unable to locate the subject."

The suspect is a white man, possibly in his late teens or early 20s, about 5-feet, 5-inches tall, and weighing around 170 lbs. He had a medium build, was wearing a gray hooded fleece with a vertical stripe across the back, a Carhart jacket, work pants, and work boots, Caron said. The suspect was also wearing a light-colored scarf which was used to cover the bottom of his face and a dark hat. The handgun was described as a metal gray Smith & Wesson revolver.

"Per the employees at the restaurant, the suspect appeared to be familiar with the layout of the building and had working knowledge of the register," Caron added.
