NEW JERSEY ? Blustery conditions and frigid temperatures follow a storm that dumped several inches of snow across South and Central Jersey, with the possibility of more snow coming later in the week, according to the latest forecast.

Strong winds Tuesday could create dangerous conditions as it creates icy patches on roads and blows snow, the National Weather Service said. At the same time, wind chill will make it feel like we're in single-digit temperatures, only rising into the teens later in the day.

Wednesday and Thursday will be more of the same, the National Weather Service said, with gusty winds and low temperatures continuing. However, it will be sunny and dry.

On Friday, temperatures may rise up closer to normal for this time of year, according to the National Weather Service.

A second winter storm could bring even more snow to New Jersey on Friday and Saturday. But it depends on what path it takes.

?There are two scenarios for this late-week storm. One scenario brings this storm farther south with limited snow and ice. If the storm is guided up the coast and strengthens, we could end up with a large snowstorm from the Carolinas to the mid-Atlantic, possibly reaching eastern New England,? AccuWeather Chief On-Air Meteorologist Bernie Rayno said.

Models are showing different scenarios as of Tuesday morning, and it's still too early to tell what will happen, National Weather Service forecasters said. A major storm may be avoided, though.

?The low pressure will move offshore while strengthening,? National Weather Service forecasters said. ?It may strengthen too late for (much) significant precipitation.?
