At Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey (RMANJ), a world-class fertility center headquartered in Basking Ridge and celebrating 20 years of service this year, fertility treatment comes in the form of science, safety and success. So that when you come in with the desire to turn your dream into a reality, we make it our mission to help you succeed.

Science

While stories of twins and triplets may still pervade the public’s perception of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), the reality is a world apart. Technological and scientific advances over the last decade have completely transformed the practice, and much of the research originated at RMANJ. Over the last two decades, the practice has invested millions of dollars into research aimed at improving patient outcomes, making possible a number of "firsts" in the industry. One of these innovations was the development of a groundbreaking embryo testing system that has made possible Single Embryo Transfer (SET), or when one embryo is transferred back into a woman’s uterus at a time. At RMANJ, doctors transfer one embryo in more than 90 percent of cases. Coming to RMANJ means getting care from experts not only in fertility care, but in fertility science.

Safety

When RMANJ doctors transfer one embryo, they are giving a big vote of confidence to the health and reproductive potential of that embryo. Because the embryo was tested for chromosomal abnormalities prior to transfer, doctors have a good idea about the way it will perform once it’s transferred, and no longer need to transfer two embryos in hopes one will implant. This new standard of care has nearly eliminated the risks — to mother and baby — associated with twins, and set a new benchmark for safety. Today, RMANJ babies are born with the same weight and pre-term delivery rates as those conceived naturally. In other words, babies born at RMANJ becoming more and more like babies that entered the world the old fashioned way.

Success

This sustained, decades-long focus on science and safety has brought success for patients. With success rates consistently above the national average, RMANJ continues to be a leader in the field, helping all types of couples — from traditional, to same-sex, to trans — start their families. Fewer miscarriages, lower pre-term deliveries, higher birth weights and less time in the NICU means more time for patients to do what they want: raise a loving family. Success also means having a positive experience in care. At RMANJ, you’ll be cared for by world-class doctors who know your story; compassionate nurses who return your calls; and a wellness team who can help you plan your meals and offer emotional support when you feel stuck.

At RMANJ, success means helping you reach your New Year’s resolution — and begin the rest of your life.
