ASBURY PARK – Asbury Park will host its annual "Back to School" event using social distancing guidelines.

“During these challenging times, we are looking for innovative ways to support our communities in a safe and healthy manner. In reinventing this 'Back to School' event, it shows yet another way we are meeting that goal,” says Councilwoman, Eileen Chapman.

This year’s event, “Back to School Drive & Walk Thru” will be held at the Municipal Complex, 1 Municipal Plaza, Asbury Park, on Saturday, Aug. 22 and Saturday, Aug. 29 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine.

The following is required:

  • Asbury park residents only
  • Report card
  • Student must be present to receive supplies
  • Grades K-12
