Asbury Park Coat Drive Now Thru Jan. 12 At City Hall

ASBURY PARK, NJ - The Asbury Park Winter Coat Drive begins today. The departments of Community Affairs and Recreation - together with the Quality of Life Committee - are seeking new or gently used warm weather wear for men, women and children.

Beginning today and running through Jan. 12, volunteers are seeking coats, caps, gloves, mittens, scarves and sweaters. The collection point is the second floor of the municipal building. The items will be distributed from 9 a.m. to noon Jan. 13 in the transportation center next to City Hall and the police department.
