Asbury Park To Host Events All Memorial Day Weekend
The Grand Arcade on the boardwalk will be a COVID-19 vaccination site this weekend.
ASBURY PARK, NJ – The city of Asbury Park has several upcoming events coming up this Memorial Day weekend, from carnivals to solemn ceremonies of remembrance.
The Asbury Park Memorial Day Carnival is ongoing at Bradley Park next to Convention Hall until May 31 from 1 to 10 p.m. all weekend long, and tickets can be found here.
The kickoff to the Asbury Park Music Foundation’s Cookman Avenue Live! concert series to support the City’s ReOpen (Realizing Opportunities for Public Enjoyment of Neighborhoods) is tonight at 7 p.m. with a performance by Mister Tickle Hands.

On Saturday and Sunday, May 29 and 30, a free COVID-19 vaccine site will be at the Grand Arcade from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m and is sponsored by The VNACJ Community Health Center, Monmouth County, the New Jersey Department of Health, Walmart, and Madison Marquette.
On Sunday, Sept. 30, a community fun day will be held at Springwood Park, featuring food, games, and free COVID-19 vaccinations and tests.

The city will hold its Memorial Day celebration on May 31 at 9 a.m. at Fireman’s Park on Main Street and Sunset Avenue.
