Asbury Park officials are investigating pro-Trump graffiti that's appeared on city property, Deputy Mayor Amy Quinn said.

ASBURY PARK – Asbury Park officials are investigating pro-Trump graffiti that's appeared on city property, Deputy Mayor Amy Quinn said.

Quinn confirmed to Patch that vandals defaced the parts of the boardwalk area with messages like "Trump 2024" and "75M of us are pissed."

"It has been painted over and police are still investigating," she said.

The vandals also appeared to have misspelled "liberalism," and instead wrote "liberaism is a mental disorder," according to The Asbury Park Press.

The city's public works crews have cleaned up the paint, according to the report.
