Asbury Park Police Officer Saves Christmas for burglary victims
Patrol Officer Joel Fiori rescued city family victimized at a burglary by using his own funds to buy a electronic gaming system.
ASBURY PARK, NJ - Officer Joel Fiori recently responded to a city home that that been the scene of a residential burglary.
Christmas was approaching and Fiori was feeling their loss as well as the holiday spirit and he wanted to do something to help the family whom authorities did not identify.
One of the items lost in the burglary was aXBox gaming system so Fiori used his own money to buy a new Xbox as well as a Fingerling for the family daughter.
The burglary victims were deeply moved by his generosity, police reported on their departmental Facebook page.
