Asbury Park Schools Call For 18 Percent Hike In Tax Levy
Asbury Park school officials called for an 18 percent in the tax levy under the district's proposed $59 million budget.

ASBURY PARK – Asbury Park school officials called for an 18 percent in the tax levy under the district's proposed $59 million budget for the 2020-21 school year.
The Asbury Park Board of Education's budget hearing will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
In view of the COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing practices, the meeting will be held as a remote/virtual meeting in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act.

Members of the public who wish to attend the remote/virtual meeting/budget hearing may do so by dialing 1-312-757-3121, conference ID 800-684-437, at 7 p.m. on May 7, 2020.
Public comments, including but not limited to public comments related to the 2020-2021 budget hearing, will be accepted via email.
