Asbury Park's Safe Streets Summer Kickoff This Thursday
The event will help teach kids about bicycle safety and maintenance.
ASBURY PARK, NJ – The City of Asbury Park will be holding its Safe Streets Summer Kickoff on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Asbury Park Transportation Center.
The event, presented by the city’s Quality of Life Committee and the Mayor’s Wellness Committee, will feature bicycle and e-scooter safety workshops, health screenings, helmet giveaways, and a bicycle service station.
The event is sponsored by EZRide, Hackensack Meridian Health, LINK, Second Life Bikes, the Asbury Park Complete Streets Coalition, Safe Kids Monmouth/Ocean, and the Asbury Park Police Department.
