ASBURY PARK – Bruce Springsteen was back in "our hometown" this weekend.

The rocker reportedly performed at the famous Stone Pony as part of a Saturday benefit show for Boston College, where his son, Evan, attended.

The 400 attendees for the invite-only event got a 22-song set that included hits from his albums “Born in the USA,” “Born to Run,” “Greetings from Asbury Park,” “The River,” as well as a few covers, Stan Goldstein, co-author of the book, “Rock and Roll Tour of the Jersey Shore,” told Variety.

Max Weinberg, the drummer from the E Street Band, and Bobby Bandiera were there, too, The Asbury Park Press reported.

Bruce also played "4th of July Asbury Park (Sandy)" but he ended with a concert favorite: "Thunder Road," on acoustic.
