Cookman Avenue Closures To Start April 30
This will be the second summer that these closures will take place to help downtown Asbury businesses during the pandemic.

ASBURY PARK-As part of the city’s ReOpen Asbury Park plan, a downtown pedestrian zone will be created by closing Cookman Avenue in two sections beginning April 30 at 1 p.m.
The portion of Cookman Avenue from Bangs Avenue to Emory Street will be closed 7 days a week through traffic and parking from April 30 at 1 p.m. through Nov 29 at 7 a.m.
However, the section of Cookman Avenue from Emory Street to Main Street will only be closed to through traffic and parking on weekends from April 30 to Nov 29 at 7 a.m. Parking and traffic will be prohibited each week from Friday at 1 p.m. through Monday at 7 p.m.
