ASBURY PARK – Asbury Park may just be the beacon of hope in the coronavirus outbreak.

Frank Zrinsky has been hosting #lightupasburypark events at the Munroe Towers every Sunday and Wednesday evening, playing some favorite tunes that are not just Bruce Springsteen.

"Good evening Asbury Park and New Jersey!" Zrinsky announced during his most recent event.

"Hope you are all keeping each other safe and looking forward to the many future celebrations we will be enjoying together soon. Stay well, and thank you for joining tonight."

Zrinsky, who owns Motion City Media, said his building manager at Munroe Towers suggested that he help keep people connected through his music. Lighting the sky and playing tunes, he said, was the way to do it.
