There will be at least one drunk-driving checkpoint in New Jersey this weekend.
The Monmouth County DWI Task force will conduct a DWI checkpoint to detect drivers under the influence of alcohol and or drugs, police said.
The checkpoint will run from 10 p.m. Friday through 2 a.m. Saturday on Route 71 (Main Street) in Asbury Park.

Task force members and officers from the Asbury Park Police Department will pull vehicles from the southbound lanes into the Municipal parking lot to determine driver's sobriety, said Allenhurst Police Chief Michael B. Schneider, task force coordinator.
