First, he surprised one of his biggest fans, one who is suffering from cancer, by meeting with her in Toms River.

Then, Friday, Ramsay showed up at The Bonney Read in Asbury Park. According to The Asbury Park Press, he arrived before dinner service at the seafood restaurant to meet the staff and also catch up with an old coworker.
The Bonney Read's owner and executive chef, James Avery, worked as Ramsay's consultant and on-air chef on both "Hell's Kitchen" and "Kitchen Nightmares," according to The Press.
