Here's An Asbury Park Restaurant That's Starting Up In The City

Joe's Rotisseria is doing what he can to help Asbury Park. And the first step in helping is, well, simply opening.

ASBURY PARK – When Modine's closed, the city worried – so much so that Asbury Park even tried to reopen indoor dining against Gov. Phil Murphy's orders.

But there's plenty to be hopeful now that outdoor dining has reopened, and one popular restaurant has decided to start new on Main Street despite the restrictions brought on by the coronavirus outbreak.

Joe Brignoni went ahead and converted a former nail salon into a pizzeria on Main Street in Asbury Park, opening to outdoor dining. Murphy has said indoor dining may resume in weeks.

Brignoni, who made a name for himself with some designer-type pizzas at his shop in Roselle Park, has even taken to Facebook to alert people to the guidelines customers need to follow.

But he also has gone to Facebook to show what The Asbury Park Press calls "over-the-top" pizzas that he's best known for:
