iStar Taps Sage Hospitality Group To Manage Asbury Properties
The Denver-based company will be overseeing the management of the Asbury Park Ocean Club Hotel, the Asbury hotel, and Asbury Lanes.

ASBURY PARK, NJ – iStar, the company that owns the Asbury Park Ocean Club, the Asbury hotel, and the Asbury Lanes, has partnered with Denver-based Sage Hospitality Group on the management of the three properties.
“These two stunning properties, along with the historic Asbury Lanes, are a perfect fit for our company and, in fact, represent a ‘bullseye’ in terms of the type of assets we seek to add to our growing portfolio of distinctive independent hotels,” said Daniel del Olmo, president, and COO of Sage Hotel Management, a Sage Hospitality Group Company, said in a press release.
Sage will also be handling the food-and-beverage side of the Asbury properties as well under their Sage Restaurant Concepts umbrella, which operates more than 30 restaurants, bars, and coffee shops in 11 states.
