Matawan Regional, Colts Neck, Holmdel Listed As Top High Schools
NIche.com, a lifestyle company, has listed a number of local schools as top high schools, including Holmdel, Matawan Regional and Colts Neck

ABERDEEN, NJ - Matawan Regional High School got an A ranking while Holmdel got an A+ and Colts Neck got an A under the tabulations of a lifestyle website that writes on the best places to live and best schools to attend.
Niche.com today released its list of the best public schools in Monmouth County for 2018. It graded High Technology High School in the Lincroft section of Middletown as A+ while Technology High School in Freehold and Marine Academy of Science and Technology in Highlands also received A+ grades.
It shares that rating with Communications High School in Wall. The grade falls slightly to A for Rumson Fair Haven Regional High School, Red Bank Regional High School, Marlboro High School, Allentown High School, Freehold Borough High School and Freehold Township High School while A- goes to Middletown High School South .

Slightly lower is Howell High School with a B+, the same grade awarded to Henry Hudson Regional School in Highlands, Manalapan High School, Middletown High School North and Wall High School.
The 2018 Best Public High Schools rankings are based on statistical analysis and reviews from students and parents as well as information from the U.S. Department of Education. Ranking factors include state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, standardized college entrance exams, teacher quality and high school ratings, according to the website.
