Neptune Begins "Aggressive" Plan To Remove Ocean Grove Snow

Neptune today undertakes an "aggressive" plan to remove accumulated snow and ice from Ocean Grove's business area.

NEPTUNE, NJ - The township's Department of Public Works today was scheduled to enact an "aggressive plan" to remove accumulated snow from the Main Avenue Business District in Ocean Grove, according to a posting from the township's website.

Scheduled to begin today at 6:30 a.m., a snow task force began the removal of snow along the north side of Main Avenue between Central and New York avenues, officials said.

All residents, business owners and their employees were prohibited from parking along that area for several hours as the plows and dump trucks did their work.

Any questions should be directed to Vito Gadaleta, township business administrator at 732-988-5200, ext. 231 or vgadaleta@neptunetownship.org.
