New Year's Eve in Asbury: Waiting For 2018 Amid Stars and Sea
New Year's Eve in Asbury Park has variety, including a party at The Grand Arcade in Convention Hall.

ASBURY PARK, NJ - Among the various offerings for ushering in 2018 is a Dec. 31 celebration at The Grand Arcade at Convention Hall where organizers are reminding us that disco never goes out of style, even if we wish it would.
The theme for the 2017 farewell and the 2018 fare thee well is New York Disco Era. Guests are encouraged to dress to impress. DJs Atom Worth, Foggy Notion and Mike Merrell will be spinning.
There are a limited amount of early individual tickets available for $100. Once the early tickets are gone, admission will go to $130 for each person. Doors open at 9 p.m. and a cash bar is available from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. Ticket prices do not include taxes and fees.

Admission includes an open bar from 10 p.m. Dec. 31 to 1:30 a.m. Jan. 1. The open bar does not include the cost of individual shots, which organizers say is consistent with establishment policy. Hors d'oeuvres will be available all evening, and the requisite champagne toast will be raised at midnight.
The Grand Arcade also will have a special group rate for groups of 10 people or more available. The group rate is $90 for each person while supplies last. After the early bird cost is gone, group tickets for 10 or more will go to $115 per person.

If you favor a V.I.P. experience, that too is available, and includes private seating overlooking the festivities, a private lounge, premium food and champagne toast package and private servers. A limited number of individual tickets are available for $210 each while VIPs of 10 or more pay $190 for each person.
Designated Driver tickets are $40 per person for general admission and $70 for V.I.Ps.
Ticket sales are available until Dec. 30 or until the event is sold out. There will be no walk-up sales. . This event is for guests who are 21 and older.
