Prosecutors Investigating Asbury Park Shooting

The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office is investigating an Asbury Park shooting that happened this weekend.

ASBURY PARK – The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office is investigating an Asbury Park shooting that happened this weekend.

The incident took place at approximately 4:59 p.m. on Saturday when the Asbury Park Police Department was dispatched to the area of 1100 Atlantic Ave., the Stephen Manor Apartments, according to the MCPO.

Police responded to the scene to find one victim with multiple gunshot wounds near the entrance to one of the buildings, the MCPO said.

The victim was taken to a local hospital where the person was listed in stable condition.
