ASBURY PARK – Upgrades are planned for Asbury Park's water system on Dunlewy Street, from Asbury Avenue to Third Avenue, starting on Friday.
New Jersey American Water is replacing approximately 1,100 feet of aging 4-inch cast iron water main that was installed in the 1920s with new 8-inch ductile iron main. The project represents a critical investment for the company in support of providing customers with safe, reliable water service.
The work will take place on Dunlewy Street from Asbury Avenue to Third Avenue and is expected to begin, weather permitting, on or about February 5 and be completed by the end of March.
