Wind Advisory In Asbury Park

ASBURY PARK – A wind advisory was issued for Asbury Park since a storm was expected to hit the area on Monday.

Southeast winds were expected to move at 15 to 25 mph beginning at 6 a.m., with gusts up to 45 mph expected.

The advisory was scheduled to be in effect from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday.

Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result, according to the National Weather Service.

The strongest winds were expected to last from mid-morning through mid-afternoon. Please secure any temporary outdoor decorations.
