Belleville Party-Goer Carjacked at Gunpoint New Year's Morning

A woman leaving a Belleville party was robbed early in the morning of New Year's Day, the Belleville Times reported.

A dark-skinned man between 5-foot-8 and 5-10 walking on Honiss Street approached the woman and displayed a handgun before driving off in the woman's 2013 Chevrolet Traverse, the Times reports.

A man driving a grey Nissan Altima with North Carolina license plates reportedly drove the gunman to the scene. Both vehicles drove toward Newark. The investigation remains ongoing.
