“Thank you so much for your generosity during [our recent] food drive. The outpour of support has shown how a community can truly share a wave of positivity when working together. The collection was donated to the food pantry at St. Peter’s Church in Belleville, NJ. From every can, spice, to box of food, a family will be able to share a meal on their table especially during these uneasy circumstances. Thank you to Jim Mcateer, food pantry coordinator at St. Peter’s Church, Scott Wentworth, fireman from Belleville Fire Department and Ron Filippi, a family friend, with loading the donations and the delivery after this week’s snow storm. It was great to meet Fr. Ivan Sciberras who was so happy to meet my sister and I while applauding our positive actions. Again, this would not have been possible without each one of you. In the span of two days, on the coldest days of January, the wave of positivity was able to succeed with the contributions of family, friends, teachers, students, neighbors and local supporters. A special thank you to our parents for always listening to our next idea and supporting us!”
