Belleville Town Budget Has Small Tax Hike For Homeowners

BELLEVILLE, NJ — Belleville officials introduced the 2021 budget during a presentation at last week’s town council meeting.

The proposed budget would mean a $39 tax increase to the municipal portion of the average assessed house in Belleville, officials said. See the town’s draft budget here and watch a video of the April 13 meeting below.

Municipal taxes make up one part of a Belleville homeowner’s property taxes, which also include school and county levies.
