Driver Leaves Scene After Hitting Pedestrian In Nutley: Police

The Nutley Volunteer Emergency Rescue Squad transported the victim to a nearby hospital with mouth and chin injuries, police said.

NUTLEY, NJ — A driver left the scene after hitting a pedestrian in Nutley last week, police said.

According to the Nutley Police Department, the victim was walking across Washington Avenue on Dec. 7, when a four-door, silver sedan traveling southbound hit them.

The Nutley Volunteer Emergency Rescue Squad evaluated the victim and transported them to a nearby hospital with mouth and chin injuries.
