‘Handyman,’ Graphic Designer Open Nutley Gift Shop/Makerspace
"Pretty Handy" in Nutley is a makerspace and gift shop that aims to bring local crafters, vendors, and DIY-ers together.

NUTLEY, NJ — What do you get when a “handyman” and a seasoned graphic designer put their heads together? A new store in Nutley called Pretty Handy.
The Nutley Chamber of Commerce recently welcomed Pretty Handy to the business community, hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony for the “makerspace and gift shop” at 175 Franklin Avenue. (Learn more about this local business)
According to a news release from the chamber, the store’s owners aim to bring local crafters, vendors, and diy-ers together in a common space:

“Pretty Handy’s mission is to support and promote small businesses giving them a venue to showcase their product and an opportunity to tell their story. They offer quality products crafted by talented makers, artisans, crafters, diy-ers and more. Their shop prides itself on improving the community and environment through collaboration sustainable practices.”
The owners, their friends, chamber members and members of the Nutley Volunteer Emergency Rescue Squad lent support to the new business during the ribbon cutting.
