BELLEVILLE, NJ — Every military veteran interred at Belleville's three cemeteries was recently honored with a Christmas wreath on their grave site.

Last weekend, the Belleville Historical Society spearheaded its annual effort to pay tribute to local veterans with Christmas wreaths, which coincided with national Wreaths Across America Day.

In addition to laying wreaths at the grave of every veteran interred at Belleville's three cemeteries, the historical society also set wreaths at the grave sites of 10 soldiers who were awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor.
