Learn How To Help Outdoor Cats At Workshop In Nutley
The Nutley Public Library will hold a workshop with Communities Promoting Animal Welfare New Jersey on Oct. 17.
NUTLEY, NJ — The Nutley Public Library will hold a workshop with Communities Promoting Animal Welfare New Jersey (CPAWNJ) on Thursday, Oct. 17 at 7 p.m.
According to a news release from the library, co-founder Karen Shinevar will teach participants ways to help outdoor animals in the local community. (Learn more about this local event)

“CPAWNJ provides local residents with solutions to reduce cat overpopulation and suffering. They collaborate with community partners and raise awareness through education and training. Their monthly spay station offers low-cost procedures and vaccinations. Since 2017 their local Trap, Neuter, Return programs have helped over 800 cats and have placed over 80 cats in new or foster homes.”
Participants can support CPAWNJ by bringing donations of bagged or canned cat food to the event.
