Nanina's In The Park Host Thanksgiving Basket Giveaway
Annual giveaway today at Belleville restaurant.

The owners of Nanina’s in the Park in Belleville and the Cheer Me Up Foundation once again host their Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Basket Brigade Monday.
They plan to distribute over 400 baskets of food for needy families in the area. Each basket contains all the ingredients for a bountiful family Thanksgiving dinner from all the fixings to the all-important turkey.
The day begins at 9 a.m. with the basket food components being delivered and a large team of volunteers working in the ballroom of Nanina’s in the Park assembling each basket meticulously to insure that each recipients Thanksgiving meal is complete.

When the baskets are completed they are picked up by the organizations they donate to and in some cases even delivered to families.
The Cheer Me Up Foundation was founded by Joseph Maurillo and his partners to aids sick and underprivileged children.

It seeks to help the children in the community experience the joy of being a child despite their hardships. Organizers said that every dollar donated to the Cheer Me Up Foundation goes directly to a child or family that needs it.
The Cheer Me Up Foundation is funded by the owners of Nanina’s in the Park and donations from local and corporate businesses as well as private donors.
