Nutley Community Garden Ramps Up For 2019 Season
Participating Nutley residents have the opportunity to plant vegetables, fruit and herbs. The delicious bounty can be donated or eaten.

The Nutley Community Garden Committee is delighted to announce preparation has begun for the 2019 season. As of this writing there are still several beds available for this upcoming season.
Participating residents will have the opportunity to plant vegetables, fruit and herbs for their personal consumption, as well have the chance to support the community by donating portions of their harvests to the Nutley Family Service Bureau Food Pantry and/or the Vincent Methodist Care Kitchen.

Gardening is a great form of exercise as well as a fantastic way to get outdoors and socialize with other members of the community. The Nutley Community Garden is a bike/walk destination which includes a storage shed and bike rack to accommodate gardeners.
Residents and/or organizations interested in obtaining a bed, or for more information on this project, please contact the Nutley Health Department at 973-284-4976. Plots will be awarded on a first come first serve basis.
