Nutley Community Preservation Partnership Social on Wednesday

The Nutley Community Preservation Partnership holds a social at 7:30 Wednesday night at the Nutley Museum. The free event is intended to bring residents together with the governing bodies and boards, including the Township Commissioners, the Zoning, Planning, Library, Rent Leveling and Historical Society Boards, along with the Historic Preservation, Shade Tree and Economic Development Committees.

On Thursday, there will be a Back to School Healthy Kids Fun Fair at John H. Walker Middle School from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Nutley parents and students are invited to take part see health-themed exhibits, displays and demonstrations.

On Saturday morning, the Belleville Police Department and the Department of Public Works hold their annual free Community Shred Day at the Senior center on 125 Franklin Ave from 9 to 12 p.m.

On Sunday, Nutley holds Civic Pride Day at the Market where residents can meet representatives from Nutley Civic Organizations.
