Nutley Music Boosters' Annual Cafe Night Fundraiser Will Feature Student Performances

From The Nutley Music Boosters Assn: The Nutley Music Boosters Association will present its annual Cafe Night on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Nutley High School. Cafe Night features the Nutley School District's instrumental music ensembles and students from the elementary school, middle school and high school. In addition to the delightful music performed by the students, the event will also feature a 50/50 raffle and tricky tray.

Two Performance Seatings will be held at 4:30pm and 7:30pm. Tickets are $10 for General Admission and $7 for Seniors and Children under 10 and include coffee, tea and dessert.

All funds raised will go toward the continuing support of the Nutley instrumental music programs.

Founded in 1975, the object of the Nutley Music Boosters Association is to "arouse and maintain an enthusiastic interest in the various phases of the instrumental music programs of the Nutley Public School system and to lend all possible support, both moral and financial, to these music programs and student participants."

For over 40 years, we have provided support to all of our instrumental music students and teachers from elementary up to high school. In the high school we provide approximately $2,000 in scholarships and various support to our award-winning programs that include, Marching Band, Concert Band, Orchestra, Jazz Band, Indoor Percussion and Winter Guard. Our Marching Band has had a distinguished record of performances throughout the United States including most recently at the 2015 TaxSlayer Bowl in Jacksonville, Florida and the recipient of a $10,000 grand prize.
