Nutley Police are organizing a new neighborhood watch program to be launched in January, Chief of Police Thomas J. Strumolo announced in a public alert.
Neighborhood Watch is a volunteer group of Nutley citizens who work in partnership with police to educate the public about crime prevention and to act as the department's extended eyes and ears in your neighborhood.
Strumolo said Mayor Petracco encourages Nutley residents to get involved.
