Nutley Police To Hold ‘Bike Rodeo’ Event For Local Kids
The Nutley police "Bike Rodeo" will include free helmets for the 1st 100 riders, an obstacle course, safety inspections and safety tips.

NUTLEY, NJ — The Nutley Police Department will host a “Bike Rodeo” for local kids on Thursday, May 17.
According to police, the bike rodeo will be open to children ages 12 and under. It will include attractions such as:
- An obstacle course
- A helmet fitting
- Safety inspections
- Bicycle safety tips
- Free car seat inspections
The first 100 children to participate will receive a free bicycle helmet, Nutley police stated.

The event is slated to take place from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 17 at the Nutley Police Department building at 228 Chestnut Street.
