Nutley’s New Gastropub Channels Spirit Of Annie Oakley
A new bar/restaurant in Nutley pays tribute to one of the township's most famous residents: sharpshooter and entertainer Annie Oakley.
NUTLEY, NJ — A new bar and restaurant in Nutley has kicked off its soft opening, offering a tribute to one of the township’s most famous residents: sharpshooter and entertainer Annie Oakley.
According to a social media post, The Oakley Kitchen started holding pre-opening hours on May 13 as it ramps up for official operations. It’s located at 789 Bloomfield Avenue. (Learn more about this local business here)
The gastropub’s full menu will eventually feature culinary offerings such as deep-fried wings, fish tacos, steak, sandwiches, artisan pizza and the eponymously named “Oakley Burger.” For those seeking a bit of hometown flavor, the “Nutley Burger” is also on the full menu (prosciutto, roasted peppers, fresh mozzarella, balsamic glaze).
