Nutley Tenant Evicted, Cat Left Behind: Police
An evicted Nutley resident apparently left their pet behind to fend for themselves, authorities said.

NUTLEY, NJ — A Nutley resident that was recently evicted from a Howard Place apartment apparently left their pet behind to fend for themselves, authorities said.
According to the Nutley Police Department, a resident of a Howard Place building contacted officers on June 27 and reported that their recently evicted tenant left their cat behind in the apartment.
Nutley police contacted animal control officers, who responded to the home and took custody of the cat, authorities said. No additional information was immediately available.
