NUTLEY, NJ — Pag’s, a popular North Jersey restaurant and catering operator, is moving from Paramus to Nutley in an “expansion move,” real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield announced earlier this week.

The restaurant opened in May 2018 on the Paramus Golf Course, 314 Paramus Road. Its new location at 227 Franklin Avenue in Nutley will feature “downtown dining in an established retail neighborhood.”

Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, Bao Lung Realty Corp., in orchestrating the long-term lease for the 6,300-square-foot, which formerly hosted the now-closed Kyoto Buffet Restaurant.

Roman Drukarov from Berkshire Hathaway Home Services NJ acted as tenant representative for Pag’s.

“This lease came together within three weeks of our bringing the space to market,” said Cushman & Wakefield retail leasing broker David Townes.

“Pag’s quickly saw the benefit of this high-visibility, turnkey restaurant opportunity,” Townes said. “The building is located on arguably the best block of Franklin Avenue – a high-traffic downtown thoroughfare that offers a vibrant mix of dining, retail and services.”
