Search For Buddy The Beagle Continues In Essex County
A dog ran away in Nutley. The Bloomfield Animal Shelter wants to know if you can help his "distraught" owner.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — The search for Buddy the beagle continues in Essex County.
On Friday, Aug. 9, the Bloomfield Animal Shelter shared an update about Buddy, a dog who ran away in Nutley earlier this week. According to shelter staff, the dog’s owner is “distraught” over their lost pet.
Buddy – who was possibly spotted on Milton Street in Nutley on Tuesday – is still missing, the shelter reported.

Here’s the shelter’s original post about Buddy:
“Missing since Sunday 8/4/19 approx 6pm from Romano St in Nutley. Buddy is chipped & has ID info on his collar. Please contact us at 973-748-0194 and/or his Mom home 973-320-8781 or cell 973-868-7153. Message from owner: ‘he ran at 6 pm yesterday, 3 yr old beagle, my contact info: 21 Romano St Nutley 873-320-8782 home. Cell 973-868-7153 I will offer award, anything it takes to get him back, he is skiddish and may run.’”
