More Than 3,500 Students Enrolled in Area Schools

The newest Census breaks down the grades of children in Bedminster and Bernardsville.

Discussions always abound about how many students are in the schools, how many are going to be coming in and what that will do to budgets and programs.

In Bedminster, that decision is made for 1,593 students who are ages 3 and older and enrolled in school.

Bedminster has reported 104 children enrolled in nursery school and preschool, and 55 children enrolled in kindergarten.

Elementary school enrollment, which includes grades one through eight, is currently at 664.

There are 296 students enrolled in high school, and 474 students enrolled in college or graduate school.

In Bernardsville, there are 2,116 people ages 3 and older enrolled in school, with 154 enrolled in nursery school or preschool, and 81 enrolled in kindergarten.

From there, there are 864 enrolled in elementary school, and 505 enrolled in high school.

Finally, 512 people are enrolled in college or graduate school.
