Bedminster Inn Makes Annual Best Restaurants In NJ List
'We can cater to a larger group of customers, but still do fine-dining dishes,' said executive chef Kevin La Femina.
BEDMINSTER, NJ — A township restaurant has been named to New Jersey Monthly's annual list of the 30 best restaurants in New Jersey.
The Pluckemin Inn took the "unusual step" of reducing its menu this year.
"Our regulars were asking for more of a steakhouse idea," executive chef Kevin La Femina told the magazine. "Our owner like specific things, and we like to keep her happy, too. I wanted to keep what I like to do — different crudos and appetizers and fish dishes."

New Jersey Monthly says the state's restaurant climate is in a "golden age" and, as a result, the publication increased its annual list of the state's best restaurants from 25 to 30 positions. Seven of the restaurants didn't make the top list last year, the publication said.
Felina in Ridgewood, The Hill in Closter, Osteria Crescendo in Westwood, and the Saddle River Inn were the other Bergen County restaurants were named to the list.
