Bedminster Kings Employee Tests Positive For Coronavirus

The grocery store was thoroughly disinfected by outside professionals and the store remains open.

BEDMINSTER, NJ — An employee of Kings Food Market in Bedminster has tested positive for the new coronavirus, Kings CEO Judy Spires said.

The supermarket was notified on Tuesday that an individual working in the Bedminster store at 450 Route 206 North tested positive for COVID-19.

"We immediately enacted our Emergency Coronavirus Response Protocol. In addition to our enhanced sanitation protocols, the store was thoroughly disinfected by outside professionals. Our store remains open," Spires said.

As of Thursday, Bedminster has a total of seven positive cases and one death, according to the Somerset County Department of Public Health.
