Bedminster, SHSD Schools Now Closed Tuesday

BERNARDSVILLE/BEDMINSTER, NJ — Somerset Hills School District and Bedminster School will now be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 12, the districts announced Tuesday morning.

All after school activities and practices are cancelled.

The schools initially had a two-hour delayed opening as of Monday night.

Governor Phil Murphy declared a state of emergency on Monday night and a winter storm warning was issued for Sussex, Passaic, Morris, Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren counties while a winter weather advisory was declared for the rest of the state, except for Cape May County.

The National Weather Service is now predicting that the Monday-through-Tuesday weather could be worse than originally expected. (See Related: Gov. Phil Murphy Declares State Of Emergency For New Jersey Storm)
